Corporate Overview:
Our client has created a rich media advertising platform for
online audience. The partnership with niche web channels and
reaching millions of targeted online viewers.
Responsibilities:
The companies Advertising Sales Team is responsible for the
monetization of our full-screen Live ad formats in key
markets around the country.
The Director of Advertising Sales is responsible selling ad
packages and for managing a subset of agency, network, and
client direct relationships. The candidate will work closely
with product marketing, business development, and operations
to enhance and refine sales products, sales offerings and
sales materials.
The candidate must be able to close new sales, maintain
client relationships for repeat sales, and hit quarterly
target revenue quotas. This position requires experience
with digital and interactive sales as well as strong
management, operational and organizational skills. This
person must be a self-starter, solutions oriented and
fearless. Love of new media, online booming industry,
content, and startups a HUGE bonus.
Qualifications:
•Proven record in interactive ad sales:
Must have met and exceeded prior sales goals
Large-account sales and sales program management necessary
Experience growing relationship value over time
Track record of strong revenue generating long term
relationships – built from scratch
•Understanding of online market place and technologies or
willingness to learn quickly
•Ability and desire to manage ad programs through the entire
advertising cycle; from business relationship to sale, to
launch to ad program management, final program reporting and
up-sell
•Ability to develop and cultivate deep relationships at all
levels ESPECIALLY Brand Managers to Media Buyers
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
•Strong preference for rolodex of interactive advertising
buyers
•Must be comfortable with changing environments and
